Speech/Workshop Abstract:
Organizational Excellence Self-assessment for Executives
the ten most challenging hallmarks of a great organizational design
Speech/Workshop AbstractLeaders who truly care about their organization's design -- enough to put time and thought into it -- are transformational. If you're one, or if you advise transformational leaders, here's a tool that may help. In just 10 words, it summarizes the hallmarks (indicators) of excellence in organizational design. Use it to assess an organization's need for transformation. One by one, we'll define what excellence really means. Then, you'll put a checkmark alongside that word if it's both important to your organization and needs work. With that, you'll have a clear sense of the organization's need for transformation, and can explain why change is needed and what is expected of the end-state organization. As an added bonus, this presentation also teases an organizational operating model the delivers all 10.
