Symptom: Clients would just as soon buy from the organization's competitors (i.e., lack of brand loyalty).

For companies, market share is lost when clients go to the competition. For internal staff, market share is lost when clients would rather make the products of the organization for themselves or work directly with vendors than buy from the organization.


Symptom: Clients feel that the organization is not delivering a good product at a fair price.

Symptom: Clients feel that the organization's products are outdated.

Symptom: Clients complain that the organization is unresponsive, or that the its products are not delivered in a timely fashion.

Symptom: Clients feel that the organization is not tailoring their products and support services to their unique needs.

Symptom: Clients don't enjoy doing business with the organization.
