Symptom: The (internal) Sales (client liaison) function exists, but is not adequate to meet the demand.

The client liaison function may exist, but may not have the time or ability to proactively work with opinion-leading clients.
The (internal) Sales (client liaison) function cannot be billed to clients. It is an overhead (commission) applied to entrepreneurships throughout the rest of the organization. If this overhead is inadequate, Sales will not be resourced to do its job.


Symptom: The (internal) Sales (client liaison) function may not be able to get enough people, or people of the right level.

Symptom: (Internal) Sales (client liaison) staff are too busy with low-level clients to be proactive with key opinion-leading clients.
