Symptom: Clients don't understand our prices.

If clients receive bills that they don't understand, resentment is natural.
Bills may be confusing if the units on which you base prices are not easily understood. Alternatively, bills may be confusing if they don't directly relate to a purchase decision made by the client.


Symptom: Unit costs are confusing.

Symptom: Clients are sent bills that don't directly relate to their purchase decisions (e.g., allocations).
