Symptom: The organization's executive is too involved in the details of running the organization and doesn't spend enough time with peer executives.

Part of an organization's marketing effort is done at the top executive level. If the organization's top executive is primarily inwardly focused, the organization needs to become more self-managing. The first step is likely to be organizational structure, to clearly define jobs and work flows so that more decisions can be delegated.
